01The planning weekBefore anything is built, we spend a paid week learning how your business runs and finding the tasks worth automating, and the ones that aren't. You end the week with a written plan and a fixed price for the build.billing ↓billing ↓

02Handling incoming requestsWe set up software that reads each new support email or order form, drafts replies to the routine ones, and flags anything unusual for your team. We check each reply before it's sent until you're confident the tool gets them right. This is usually what people mean by an AI agent.

03Adding AI to your softwareAI can work inside the systems you already run. We connect the AI to your systems and add the safeguards a quick demo skips, like catching errors and capping how much the AI service can cost you each month.

04Internal tools and dashboardsWe link your systems so nobody has to retype data, and we build dashboards and internal tools, like a replacement for an overgrown spreadsheet.

05Testing the results (evals)Each tool has to pass a set of test cases before launch. We write them from examples in your business, so they show what a correct result looks like.

how billing works

Fixed Prices, Agreed Before Each Step

We don't publish a price list. The price depends on how much there is to make. For automation and software, that's how much the system has to do, how many of your tools it connects to, and how much data it handles. For websites, video, and 3D models, it's how many pages, videos, or models you need. Monthly support, if you want it, is priced separately. Tell us your budget and we'll say honestly whether it fits. Hosting and AI usage are billed to your own accounts, and the plan lists what to expect.

Your build price is fixed in the written plan at the end of the planning week, before any build work starts. All paid work runs under an agreement we both sign.

The planning fee
You pay it before the planning week starts. If you go ahead with the build within 60 days of getting the plan, the fee comes off the build price. We refund it only if the week shows the work isn't worth doing or isn't work we do, and then we tell you what we'd recommend instead. You keep the written plan whatever you decide.

A deposit
It's due only once you decide to go ahead with the build.

Stage payments
We invoice as each stage of the build is delivered, and you have 15 days to pay.

Monthly support
Billed monthly after launch, with a three-month minimum, then month to month.

Every invoice arrives by email with a link to pay online.

Before You Get in Touch

If we haven't answered your question here, ask it in your first message.

How does pricing work?We don't bill by the hour. We quote the planning week's fixed fee after the free call, and the written plan at the end of that week gives you the build price. If you want something added once the build has started, we price the change first, and you decide whether to go ahead.

How long does a build take?We aim to go live four to eight weeks after the planning week, or two to four weeks for a website. You get a working version to try every week, and the written plan sets your exact timeline.

Who does the work?Tillman, EternalDev's founder, does the work himself, and he stays your contact after launch. If a project ever needs a second developer, he'll tell you before they start and review everything they deliver.

What happens to our data?We'll sign an NDA before you share anything sensitive. Your data stays in accounts you own where we can, and the AI services we use don't train on it.

What if the AI gets something wrong?Every tool is tested on examples from your own work before it launches. Until you trust a tool, we review each message before it's sent and each change before it touches your data. If something still slips through, we fix it and add that case to the tests.

What does monthly support cover?It covers updates when the AI services or tools your system relies on change, fixes when something breaks, and small changes. When something does break, we respond within one business day. New features are quoted as their own project. If we'll be away, support clients get the dates ahead of time, and anything urgent is the first thing we handle when we're back.

Can we do a one-off project without monthly support?Yes. The project can end at launch, but someone will still need to look after it. For an automation, that means updates when the AI models and services it relies on change. For a website, it means software updates, security fixes, and content changes. If your own team takes this on, we hand everything over with documentation written for them.

What happens if we stop monthly support?You keep the code and the documentation, and the system keeps running as it is. What stops is our upkeep, meaning the retesting and updates when the services it depends on change. You can restart support later, or hand the documentation to another developer.

Do you build on WordPress or something custom?Both. We use WordPress when you want to edit pages yourself, and React when speed matters most, as we did for this site. We settle it together during the planning week.

How much of the website, video, and 3D work does AI do?We use AI for first drafts, like page layouts, rough video cuts, and early renders, and for repetitive edits across many pages or frames. Working this way is why a website can be ready in two to four weeks. AI doesn't make the decisions. We do, with your approval at each step, and we review everything before you see it.

Do you work with individuals, or just companies?Both. If you work for yourself, we can make you a website, a launch video, or a product render. Automation and custom software suit a business with a bigger problem to solve and a budget to match. Developers learning to build with AI can join the founding list for the EternalDev Community.
